Dear colleagues and friends,
After a series of very successful EORTC-CLTF meetings, it is our great pleasure to host the EORTC-CLTF 2019 meeting in Athens and invite you all to the Greek capital, from September 26-28, 2019.
The EORTC CLTF Annual Meeting has been a major event for the scientific community all across Europe and it is constantly evolving, becoming more popular, innovative and influential, while maintaining high standards of scientific quality and family atmosphere. As such, it is our challenge and, at the same time, promise to make the Athens meeting an exciting one, attractive to delegates and sponsors, both in terms of scientific content and social interaction. The central goal of the meeting is to bring together experts from Europe and around the world to discuss the latest Cutaneous Lymphoma fundamental science, establish the highest priorities for investigation, address current challenges in patient care and improve overall practice methods for a better quality of life of our patients.
Athens provides the ideal setting for these goals, since it combines natural beauty, cultural wealth, up-to-date infrastructures and a buzzing day and night life. Furthermore, Athens is a symbolic city, universally recognized as the cradle of Western civilization and Democracy. The meeting will be held at the Zappeion Megaron, an emblematic venue situated at the heart of Athens, next to the Parliament and within walking distance from all major archeological sites, including the Acropolis museum the Parthenon and the old town (Plaka).
It is the Local Organizing Committee’s pledge to make every possible effort to offer an unforgettable experience to all participants, hoping that they will also have the chance to enjoy the late-September Greek summer.
We look forward to welcoming you to Athens in September 2019, eager to exchange views on our field and ready to live a memorable experience, “caressed” by the breeze of the Aegean coastline...
